Beautiful Disaster
I went on a book-bender this week, but the "bender" consisted of only one book. This one. This is the first book, in all of my reading experience that I have ever finished, just to immediately start reading again. Not because I didn't understand what happened and had to re-read to comprehend it (it's an easy, albeit emotionally-involved, read). I didn't re-read it because I forgot what happened, and needed to refresh my memory for this review. No. Every

About book#1:
Dr. Emily Drake’s patients tend to be a little unusual. Instead of the typical therapist’s caseload of midlife crises and mother fixations, Emily treats vampires with blood phobias and sex-demons looking for meaningful relationships. But her gift for recognizing and healing the Other—those creatures of the night that most humans don’t even know exist—requires a few house rules. First: Never trust a shifter. Especially not one like Detective Colin Gyth whose gold-flecked

Behind The Books – Interview With Author Cherrie Lynn

It is no mystery that I fell hard for a specific tattooed (albeit imaginary) bad boy a few weeks ago. I happened upon a book while searching for a new "rock star" romance to read, and found "Brian". I quickly realized that he was not a musician (well, not as far as I know, anyway) however, he did have a knack for a particular instrument. A "rough around the edges" tattoo artist, leading the bad boy lifestyle, and yet, he had the heart of a hero. My fascination with Brian proved that I'm

Cry Sanctuary: Red Rock Pass, book 1
*opens door with a grin* Hey y’all come on in. Maryse is at the store, I think she’s getting more blood or maybe some of those Canadian Cherry Blossom candies. Have you had those? They are awesome. She is trying to get me to try Spruce Beer - which I can only guess tastes like carbonated Pine-Sol – but I am still wary of it.

So, anyways, while she’s not here I can tell you about the book I read. Remember those free and cheap paranormal deals

Beautiful Disaster
Annnnnd I'm obsessed again. This is getting a little embarrassing  I'm halfway through the book, and I'm already antsy about it being almost over. What am I going to do when there's no more Travis? How am I going to ever look at another bad boy again? It seems each time I find another one of these "bad boy" books, I think to myself, "this one can't be beat", and then boom!!! I find another badder and hotter then then the last. Hotter than Brian of Rock Me? Hrmmm...

Blindsided (With the Band)
Here's another little treasure I found in my mad-search for rock star books, that kept me reading non-stop. No book reviews out there for it as of yet, but it deserves one, and at only 0.99 for a good length e-read, it was well worth it. I loved it. Okay, maybe not "Rock Me" loved it, or even "Falling Star" loved it, but I was not disappointed. Oh and... is that a dimple I see in her cover rocker? *sigh*

Samson's Lovely Mortal: Scanguards Vampires
This was an enjoyable, easy read. I read it in one night, and didn't get bored once. It may not have driven me to my blog in a frenzy to tout it's amazingness but it held my attention and I will definitely be continuing the series. And better yet, it's one of the free Kindle e-books I downloaded (and it looks like it's still free!!)

It had all the "oldschool" stuff that I love in a vampire romance novel.

The Darkest Pleasure (Hqn)
Reyes... Reyes, Reyes, Reyes. Reminded me somewhat of "Z" (from BDB series) so I ummm... kinda, put my brain picture of "Zsadist" and superimposed it onto Reyes. Not bad, if I do say so myself. Made for a mighty enjoyable read, and kinda like re-reading Z's story (okay, maybe Z's cousin or something). Oh, did I ever tell you I did that with "Tegan" from the Midnight Breed series? Yeah... if the hero has "Z-like" qualities, my "Z" image becomes the default in

Sheet Music - A Rock 'N' Roll Love Story
A couple of weekends ago, I went on another "rock star book" hunt, and I found a bunch (all nicely loaded into my iPad). None of them are "main stream" or very popular (some didn't even have reviews yet), but that's okay. There's a "first time" for everything (and some of my favorite books recently, have been relatively unknown). Each of my "finds" had a synopsis that tickled my fancy, (you know... the whole, normal girl accidentily runs into

Happy 4th of July everyone! Let's celebrate it with another man-candy post! He counts as fireworks, right?
